Trigonometric graphs and models: mixed checkpoint
Check your ability to choose a method across sinusoidal graphs, tangent and reciprocal functions, inverse trigonometry, right-triangle applications and periodic modelling. The questions mix representations and do not label the method to use. A coordinate graph, an unfamiliar observation geometry and short model-comparison tasks connect the module with earlier algebra and average-rate-of-change skills.
This is an assessment bank rather than a sequence of worked lessons. Attempt the questions independently before reading the explanations. Single-select and multiselect items test complete conclusions, including range restrictions, signs, units and the difference between an angular coefficient and a period. Explanations are intended for review after the attempt.
Interpreting the result
Use errors to identify a specific gap and revisit its topic practice: graphs and transformations, inverse ranges, mixed compositions, triangle modelling or residual interpretation. A single aggregate score is not proof that every objective is secure. This checkpoint samples core skills and excludes optional extension topics. It uses fresh combinations of conditions and representations; later delayed retrieval should be attempted after intervening study, with written justification where possible.
